We’re looking for an engineer interested in building AI not as a feature inside software but as a layer that replaces software itself. The focus is on exploring what computing looks like when AI becomes the operating system. You’ll work on the intelligence layer behind autonomous agents: how they reason, maintain context, coordinate actions, and reliably execute real-world workflows across multiple services. This is a hands-on role working closely with the founders, where engineering decisions directly shape how the system thinks and behaves.
Engineering Challenges:
AI agents today are impressive demonstrations but often unreliable systems. Key challenges include continuity, orchestration, memory management, execution guarantees, and coordination across services. You’ll work on the internal architecture of agents - how systems plan, remember, recover from failures, and act consistently in production environments. The current stack includes Kotlin, TypeScript, and Python, with strong emphasis on infrastructure awareness and distributed systems thinking.
Who We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience with Java or Kotlin
experience with TypeScript / JavaScript and some Python (or willingness to work with it)
strong fundamentals in networking, databases, queues, and distributed systems
regular use of AI tools in daily engineering workflows
comfort operating in ambiguity within small, fast-moving teams
Location & Setup:
London-based collaboration is preferred, but remote work is possible. Relocation and visa support are available. Candidates must be located outside the Russian Federation.
English is the working language. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
Compensation is flexible and shaped around strong candidates, with employment via a UK entity or a B2B setup for remote hires.
