  • Remote (UTC+0 to UTC+4).
  • Relocate to Cyprus, Limassol.
LEVEL:

Middle and Senior.
SALARY: up to 4500 € net per month, however, it is not a sharp limit.

The colleagues are developing an award-winning online trading platform offering shares, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and ETFs trading on mobile and desktop. What you will do:

  • Development of new and existing core projects within the company.
  • Development of modular/reusable PHP code within MVC frameworks.
  • Development of modular/reusable JavaScript code.
  • Refactor/rewrite code to increase quality and optimize performance.

Requirements:
  • Comprehensive experience in PHP.
  • Practical experience using PHP MVC frameworks (Preferably CakePHP).
  • Practical experience with JavaScript ES6.
  • Practical experience with Rest APIs.
  • Practical experience using Linux-based operating systems and a command line interface.
  • Experience using Version Control and Code Reviews (Preferably Git).
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Beneficial Experience:
  • Experience with JavaScript technologies, like ES5, ES6, jQuery, React, and node.js.
  • Experience with MySQL, MongoDB (or other NoSQL databases).
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Webpack, SCSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience integrating unit testing/code coverage / etc. into projects.
  • Experience in process automation (re-useable scripts for deployment etc.).
  • Use of key-value stores such as Redis/Memcached.
  • Understanding scalable applications, working with multiple web nodes, using docker, etc.

Since the team is international, this position also requires a certain level of English (about B1-B2+) that allows you to be interviewed and communicate with foreign colleagues.
